Abstract

This paper analyses various graphetic and graphematic features of the Glagolitic and Latin editions of the Croatian Protestant book Spovid (1564). Prominent research questions – the status of letters yer, yat and đerv – are interpreted in comparison with the situation observed in older Protestant editions (Artikuli, Postila) and viewed as a contribution to a better understanding of the Protestant language concept and the Croatian literary language in the 16th century.
