Abstract

In the paper the authoress is analyzing thirteen syntactic rules in the Institutionum Lingue lllyricae Libri Duo, the first published Croatian grammar in 1604 by Bartol Kašić. A comparison has been done with syntactic principles and notes in the grammar by Ardelio Delia Bella from 1728 in the dictionary Dizionario Italiano, Latino, lllyrico /.../ ed anche una breve Grammatica per apprendere con proprieta la Lingua lllyrica. A more detailed analysis of syntactic principles in Ardelio Delia Bella is the following step in nearly four century long continuity of Croatian grammar.
