The JCR for 2022 data has been published
Dear "Rud.-geol-naft. zb." journal users,
Clarivate has released the 2022 update for its annual Journal Citation Reports (JCR). This is the first time the journal has received the Journal Impact Factor™. We are pleased to announce that "Rud.-geol-naft. zb." now has a 2-year impact factor of 1.3. This is a great success for all involved and at the same time a confirmation of the importance of the contribution of "Rud.-geol-naft. zb." to the scientific community and the progress of open science. Journals receiving an inaugural Impact Factor in 2023 will not receive ranks, quartiles or percentiles until 2024. However, if consider JIF's for both SCIEx and ESCI journals liste in the JCR 2022, we could assume that the journal would be ranked in Q3 in both WoS categories.
In addition, the journal has the JCI and is ranked into 2 categories based on this variable. The JCI score for 2022 is 0.43 (compared to 0.42 in 2021), and the number of citations received from other JCR journals is 400 (compared to 353 in 2021). Consequently, we are selected in Q3 (169/248) in Geosciences multidisciplinary; 20/32 in Mining and Mineral Processing). This is a slight increase in ranks compared to 2021 (174/244; 20/31), and we believe that the increase in percentile ranks will continue in 2023 (https://jcr.clarivate.com/jcr/home).
Thank you for supporting us with papers, reviews, and citations (stating original, Croatian, journal name or abbreviation).
Kind regards,
Tomislav Korman, Editor-in-Chief
