The JCR for 2023 data has been published
Dear "Rud.-geol-naft. zb." Journal Users,
We are pleased to announce that Clarivate has released the 2023 update for its annual Journal Citation Reports (JCR). This is the first time our journal has been ranked by Journal Impact Factor. "Rud.-geol-naft. zb." now has a 2-year impact factor of 1.2 (compared to 1.3 in 2022). Consequently, we are ranked in Q3 (186/253) in Geosciences Multidisciplinary and 20/31 in Mining and Mineral Processing.
Additionally, the Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) score for 2023 is 0.42 (compared to 0.42 in 2022), and the number of citations received from other JCR journals is 446 (compared to 400 in 2022). This positions us in Q3 (171/253) in Geosciences Multidisciplinary and Q3 (19/31) in Mining and Mineral Processing. These rankings represent a slight increase compared to 2022 (171/249; 21/32), and we are optimistic that our percentile ranks will continue to improve in 2024 (https://jcr.clarivate.com/jcr/home).
This achievement is a significant success for all involved and highlights the importance of "Rud.-geol-naft. zb." to the scientific community and the progress of open science.
