The SJR (Scimago Journal Rank) for 2023 has been published

Dear journal users,

The SCImago Journal Rankings for 2023 have just been released, and we are pleased to see the SJR score for Rudarsko-geološko-naftni zbornik has increased to 0.366. This places our journal in the second quartile (Q2) within the Earth and Planetary Sciences (miscellaneous) category, and the third quartile (Q3) within the categories of Energy, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, and Water Science and Technology.

This represents a significant improvement compared to the previous year, when the journal held a Q3 position across all categories. The editorial decision to increase the number of published articles in previous years has evidently been beneficial in the long term. This positive result also emphasises the quality of the articles published in Rud.-geol-naft. zb.

With this in mind, I would like to thank to all our authors, reviewers, and editorial board members for their invaluable contributions and support.
