The CiteScore (Scopus) for 2023 has been published.

Dear "Rud.-geol-naft. zb." journal users,

We are pleased to announce that the 2023 CiteScore (Scopus) has been published. Our journal has achieved a CiteScore of 2.5, maintaining the same result as last year. As a result of this CiteScore, our journal is ranked as follows:

2xQ2 in Earth and Planetary Sciences: Geology and General Earth and Planetary Sciences.

3xQ3 in Earth and Planetary Sciences: Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Geology, Energy: General Energy, and Environmental Science: Water Science and Technology.

These rankings reflect our consistent performance over the past years. We consider this a commendable achievement, especially given the significant increase in the number of articles published annually since 2021. This is also a confirmation of the quality of the published articles.

Additionally, we are excited to inform you that this year our journal will be ranked according to the Journal Impact Factor (JIF) for the first time. We anticipate that the "Rud.-geol.-naft. zb." will be classified as Q3 in the JCR 2022. We will keep our readership updated on the official publication of this ranking.
