St. Cyprian’s Abbey on the Island of Krk

Abstract

The author presents 30 documents from the State Archive od Venice covering a period from 1153 to 1437 and relating to the church buildings and other property of the St. Cyprian’s Abbey in Muran, the Island of Krk. Each document is accompanied by an inventory list with signatories plus information on available copies and to-date publications, if any. In his introduction the author gives a specified list of all these documents with brief comments on their contents, mostly prebends, endowments, appointments of priors and disputes.
