Sažetak
In this article process of establishment of the fist scientific post-graduated study in soial work is described. It is post-graduated scientific study of theory and methodology in social work which combined biannual scientific master study and three-year PhD study. Outcome of this post-graduated program which enrolled only two generations of students (academic year 2002/3 and 2004/5) are first 13 PhD and 27 MSc of social work. This study significantly improved scientific consolidation of social work as scientific discipline and the status of the Department of Social Work in academic community.
