Sažetak
It is my privilege to present the first issue of TEDI, the interdisciplinary online journal from the Faculty of Textile Technology, University of Zagreb, Croatia!
Young scientists from the Faculty of Textile Technology have supported the idea of editing this journal, gratefully supporting the idea of our Dean, prof. dr. sc. Darko Ujević. TEDI has the mission and the vision of fast publishing information about interdisciplinary art and scientific research that is related to textile technology, art, history and design.
Young scientists, designers and artists are encouraged to present their work in our journal as original scientific papers, short or preliminary communications, reviews, professional and conference papers, as well as professional contributions, essays, reviews of books, events, collections and installations. Interdisciplinary work related to textile is specially supported: textile history, textile technology, textile chemistry, design, fashion, colour, nanotechnology, conservation and restoration, forensics of textile fibres, chemometrics and mathematical modelling related to textile can be presented.
All submissions to the journal undergo a peer review process coordinated by the TEDI editorial team working with respected experts in many aspects of textile technology, art and science. Contact us to submit material for publication or for further information at: http://www.ttf.hr/tedi/
The first number of TEDI is issued on the 50th years of Textile studies at University of Zagreb and the 20th anniversary of the Faculty of Textile Technology, on the 25st of January 2011!
