THE MANUSCRIPT DICTIONARY BY FRA LjUDEVIT- DEPENDENCE AND SPECIFICS

Abstract

The manuscript dictionary by fra ljudevit was compilled by reversing the dictionary Blago jezika slovinskoga by Jakov Mikalja and taking over latin entry-word form Belostenec's and Jambrešić's Latin-Croatian dictionaries. This points to the conclusion that this manuscript originated after 1740 as a preparation for the planned printed edition.
