Sažetak
The most frequent and most important authority persons in private protection and security and personal body guard duty exercise includes identification of persons, issuing warnings and commands and search of persons, property and vehicles. These can be termed as fundamental authority of the persons performing private protection and security duties. Identification of persons is most commonly the first step in carrying out the other authorized actions. Checking the identity of persons is required for submission of written reports and forms covering an authorized action, in reports on the application of authorization, in reports on the use of force, etc. By giving warning, security guards and other security staff indicate to a person the risk of causing by their behaviour, action or omission to act, a threat to themselves, to others or to property, or disturbance of public order. Warnings are given when it is justified to assume that a person might commit or entice another person to commit a criminal act or misdemeanour. After an issued command, a person is obliged to submit to the guard or other security staff and to act according to the command. Search of persons, property and vehicles is carried out, first of all, as a security measure by which security staff avert dangers from themselves, from other persons or from protected objects and as a measure to locate items that may be subject of criminal action or misdemeanour, those intended as means of carrying out a criminal act or misdemeanour, or to find items that may be used as evidence in court proceedings.
