Sažetak
Clinical manifestation of PID appears in a broad spectrum, from subclinical endometritis to pyosalpinx and tuboovarian abscess. Asymptomatic pelvic inflammatory disease is not rare and it is important because of severe consequences on women's reproduction health. It is diagnosed by basic clinical symptoms (pain in the dnexis region, metrorrhagia, dyspareunia, high body temperature, nausea, vomiting), laboratory test results (high erythrocyte sedimentation rate, leukocytosis and increased CRP) and ultrasonography. Today,
minilaparoscopy is used all the more often. Instruments used in minilaparoscopy are of about 2 mm in diameter. They are installed into the abdominal cavity by stabbing without cutting the skin, which results with excellent cosmetic effect and the acquired results show a high reliability of the diagnostic method.
