Sažetak

This paper briefly describes the history and development of a documentary film focusing on the beginnings of a documentary film. It describes the procedure for making the documentary - promotional film from the initial idea, through shooting to final product. Techniques of recording and editing that are used when creating the documentary - promotional film are highlighted. In a short outline describes the technical equipment used for the realization of the documentary - promotional film. At the end of paper a comparison is made with a similar documentary film of professional production from artistic and technical point of view.
