Croatian Police Academy in the European Union Programmes

Sažetak

The accession process to the European Union puts in front of Croatia challenge of adjustment to the common acqui, but at the same time opens up the possibility of using financial means from the EU budget. Entering into full membership makes new funding opportunities accessible to endorse de-velopment goals as well as to speed up growth and development of the Croatian economy and the society in whole. This article gives an overview of the Police Academy participation so far in the EU programmes and successful continuation of the activities under the IPA programme 2011.
