The slope inclination of the continental part of the Republic of Croatia

Sažetak
Slope inclination determination is an essential element of the relief analysis. The obtained data serve for the determination of the denudation intensity, respectively of its accumulation and they are the indicator of the ground stability. Their application is possible in all spheres of human activity dealing with the Earth surface. The relief inclination structure of the continental part of the Republic of Croatia, obtained by systematic measurements, points to the predominance of the lower onclination values, to 5° (59,23 % of the Republic of Croatia territory). These are the grounds with less expressed erosion and intensified accumulation, stable and very aggreable for exploitation, which is of great importance in everyday life and for the land use planning.
