Abstract

Demands on geometric accuracy of the shape and position of objects are increasing daily. Therefore, new measurement methods are being developed. The aim of the present method of measurement to be contactless. In this way the measuring system introduces smaller measurement errors. Optical three - dimensional scanners that were originally used for reverse engineering are being used more frequently as machines for measurement and comparison with the CAD model. At the present time is not possible to find any car industry that does not use three - dimensional optical scanner.

Keywords
