Expansion of the Port industry in the World and the Problems of its development in Yugoslavia

Sažetak
Using of the comparative analysis, the development of the recent portindustry in the World and in Yugoslavia is reported. Yugoslavia till now hasn't used it's advantage of maritime position for the development of industry. The littoral industry was built only in the frame of Rijeka port-system (M.I.D.A. of Bakar Bay and north part of Island Krk). The development of industry in the free economic zones of the Yugoslav sea ports in fact didn't start yet.
