Sažetak

In children's nutrition milk is an unavoidable item. The rate of breast-feeding used to be very low in Croatia. Therefore a National Program for Promotion of Breast-Feeding was introduced 1992. Situation with milk consuming was unfavourable also before the war, and worsened significantly during and after the war. Therefore, we propose an intention programme in schools, called: "A cup of milk for every school age child in Croatia".
