Sažetak
In this paper, the system and practice of lifelong learning for entrepreneurship in the Croatian academic sector are discussed, based on the theoretical conception of the “entrepreneurial university”. The preliminary empirical assessment of such form of lifelong learning is performed from the perspective of start-up entrepreneurs, as their (potential) users. By using their fundamental demographic and entrepreneurial characteristics, the personal effectiveness and educational needs of these entrepreneurs are considered. Recommendations for design and improvement of education for entrepreneurship in Croatian academic institutions are also provided.
