Sažetak
In the context of current discussions about upbringing
and education the author of the article examines the problems
of upbringing in the light of the relationship. The fact is that
in neoliberal capitalism upbringing as well as education has
obtained a completely new definition which is no longer in
accordance with the ancient concept of upbringing as a concern
for the totality (integrity) of humanity. The author is trying to
warn about neglect of humanistic moment in upbringing and
education in today’s scientific-technical vision of the world.
Consequently, some educational aspects are problematized
and also the perspective of relationships on the basis of Martin
Buber’s philosophy of dialogue.
