Sažetak
By its occurrence, the class ll/l anomaly belongs to extremely frequent anomalies in the orthodontic casuistics. As the skeletal components of this anomaly are difficult to diagnose clinically, roentgenocephalometry should be employed in differential diagnostics. The aim of this study was to identifity the roentgenocephalometric parameters providing the best definition of the anomaly. The study was carried out by a statistical processing of 20 variables in a sample of 100 roentgenograms of patients with class ll/I and in a control sample of 100 roentgenograms of eugnathic subjects. The arithmetical mean differences and discriminative analysis indicated the Wit’s assessment, Down’s angle of convexity, ANB and AXB to be the variables that provided the most significant differentiation between the two groups of subjects. Thus, the above mentioned parameters should be given special attention in the differential diagnostics of class ll/I.
