Pathologic changes in palatal musoca in patients wearing inadequate prosthesis

Sažetak
At our Institute the functional values of removable prostheses and their correlative relations to the pathologic changes in oral tissues were observed. The pathohistoiogic methods of examination were used. The pathologic chahges were discovered and divided into four groups: (a) chronic inflammatory infiltration, (b)papillary hyperplasia (granular inflammantion), (c) metaplasia (leukoplakia) and (d) carcinoma. In this work chronic inflammatory infiltration with abundant fibrosis and partly with hyalinosis as well as the changes in the form of papillary hyperplasia are described.
