The relationship between stomatopyrosis and disturbances of abdominal acidity and reduction of iron and hemoglobin in blood.

Sažetak
The characteristics of oral changes and symptoms in patients with a lower amount of hemoglobin and serum iron and changes in abdominal acidity are presented. To find out w hether objective findings and subjective oral symptoms were in agreement with the view the view on the effect of sideropenic anaemia and changes in abdominal acidity on the structure of the oral mucosa, the authors carried out a clinical exam ination in 121 patients with clear symptoms of glosso- and stom atopirosis and findings for hemoglobin, serum iron and abdominal acidity. In conclusion the authors discuss the incidence of the disease and changes in the oral mucosa in examined patients, pointing out the importance of diagnostics of oral changes and symptoms and the ir relationship with the above m entioned general disorders in the organism.
