Periodic maintenance activities on Krk bridge

Sažetak

Maintenance activities conducted on the Krk bridge since its opening to traffic are presented. These activities were performed in a continuous manner. The way in which new information, i.e. information gained after bridge construction, was used in the maintenance and repair of the bridge is presented. It is emphasized that the biggest problem encountered on the bridge was the corrosion due to chlorides, for which no data were available in the literature at the time the bridge was built. All methods and activities used in the repair and maintenance of this bridge are described.
