Sistematical teeth control and its value as the foundation for work activity in the health protection department for students in Zagreb

Sažetak

The general medical service in the Students' Health Protection Department has in the school year 1974/75. examined 5.243 regular prime year students and found that 1.481 or 28,2% of students have carious teeth. The dentists of the mouth and teeth protection service of this department who have under their care 31.017 regular students inscribed on the Highschools in Zagreb have du­ring the last year among their other activities pulled out 2.141 and stuffed 31.872 teeth. In the Student Home »S. Radić« they polled and examined 383 students. The examined students have shown a freguence of carious teeth od 98% respectively in the enquired group an overage »KEP index« of 13,6 the Poll has shown that only 32,3% of students consults his dentist.
