[The aspects of teeth color selection in removable prosthodontigs]

Sažetak

This investigation was carried out on 935 removable partial dentures
(381 male, 554 female) and 369 complete dentures (118 male, 251 female) having acrylic teeth (double-layer type) Poligalantplast (Volčja Draga). Qualitative statisical method by Cramer as well as X2 — test were used. In removable partial dentureis greater number of certain colors was found in comparison to complete dentures. In female and younger groups of patients with RPD more freqiuent lighter teeth colors were found. in complete dentures of both sex groups there is a trend of lighter teeth color selection, especially in female group. These results could provide some influence on teeth production. The lack of more reliable criterion for teeth color selection of complete dentures sholud encourage further investigations.
