[Test of masticatory efficiency in complete and defective teeth]

Sažetak
On two groups of subjects the authors have assessed the difference in masticatory efficiency between the complete and defective teeth. They also proved that the test applied was valuable. In the evaluation of individual cases, however, they were not able to show this difference on the basis of the results obtained so far. They indicated the probability of obtaining more accurate results with the test of masticatory efficiency applied to individuals using at the same time the methods of the evaluation of the muscle energy produced, the direction of the muscle fibres, caphalometry and anthropometry, and the digital integration of the electromyographic registration of the muscle activity. Bei den epidemiologischen Untersuchungen ist neben verschiedenen Angaben wie Krk were carried out by the author who estafbliched a certain correlation between the prevalence of dental caries, the condition of oral hygiene and the fluoride contents.
