[Replantation of teeth after injury]

Sažetak

An historical survey is followed by a description of the method of replantation of teeth after injury. Five cases among children are described. The time elapsed since replantation is two to 22 months. All replanted teeth are functionally valid and are subject to further check-up. The author discusses the successful intervention in children who have had their theeth knocked out and subsequently replanted. The duaribility of the replanted teeth which ranges from five to eight years bridges over the interval after which fixed prosthetic substitutes can be applied.
