Sažetak
Organizations which operate in a safety critical industry, such as oil and gas industry, need more specific quality management system then ISO 9001:2008. The current standard for quality management systems, ISO9001:2008 accepted worldwide, must satisfy the needs of many types of industry and organizations, which is not always easy. Therefore, ISO/TS 29001:2010 has been developed as a result of partnership between ISO and oil and gas industry.
ISO/TS 29001:2010 is an extension of the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2008 for the quality management systems. It includes additional requirements with an emphasis on defect prevention and the reduction of variation in realization of products. The paper presents the process of implementation and certification of ISO/TS 29001:2010 requirements into the existing integrated quality and environment management system in a Croatian company IMG which produces high pressure needle valves and other pressure equipment for oil and gas industry. The paper specifically explains all additional requirements of ISO/TS 29001 as well as the way they are implemented in IMG company.
