Sažetak

The analysis of Vučetić’s poem San o hobotnici na putni Kjuča – The Dream about the Octopus on Punti Kjuča is based on the affective theory of poetry.
Repetition is the fundamential principle of sturcturing a poem. Assonance, alliteration, rhyme, homophonic connections, reiteration of rhythmyc structures and repetitive syntagms have linked together materially the single parts of the poem so that the interior motivated relations have been realized. The stylistic tretments are considered as phonostylistic ones. The value of a poetic text is corraborated only by creative reading interpreted with sound effects.
As the speech sign is established by an integral speaking form so also the poetic sing is established by the complete poem. A poem is an invidisible whole, each part of poem contains the integral poem in itself. No poetic word exists, only the poetic syntax does.
The merits of the chakavian poetry are not in their relations to the poetry written in the standard language. The exlusive measure of the worth of the chakavian poetry is within the complex of its own structures, within its poetic speech.
