Sažetak
The article deals with the contribution of specialized reviews for Catechesis and Religious education to RE teachers formation in Croatia. The long historical presence of pedagogical reviews (since 1859) as well as those in the field of catechesis and religious education (since 1897) with brief interruptions continues to this day. Currently, there are four reviews published in Croatia that are exclusively or partly devoted to religious education in schools and religious pedagogy. These reviews discuss the RE teachers formation, the fundamental issues relating to religion in school and the nature, role and legal position of religious education. Furthermore, these reviews deal with a wide variety of topics and themes and provide theoretical and practical guidance for lifelong learning and advancement for RE teachers. More and more RE teachers contribute to these reviews with their articles by which they give their own personal contribution to the training of RE teachers.
