Sažetak
A religious educator is in the service of religious education. Religiosity is a component of his profession. His role is not insignificant. Starting from the interest of psychology in religion and vice versa – choosing two psychological directions for the starting point of this work (Freudian and humanistic) – we examine the underlying psychological concepts of the religiosity of a religious educator. We briefly consider the significance of the concepts of reactivity and proactivity, referring to the theories of Allport and several other psychologists of a similar anthropological orientation, who emphasize the positive orientation of the human being as well as the transcendental values that characterize religiosity in general. We also record and illuminate the parameters that mark these two key concepts in their diversity. We assess the extent to which the religiosity of a religious educator – both reactive and proactive – can influence the results of his overall work. We emphasize that the religiosity of the religious educator has a good foothold in proactivity. This refers to the attitude, behavior and creative mentality for which we appeal, and which enriches the educator’s religious reality.
