Studying non-material cultural heritage (oral traditions, customs, rituals, traditional crafts), which, according to the UNESCO’s Convention from 2003 is the key segment of the recognizing and defi ning endangered cultural identities is a general trend in the
world.
The paper presents a multidisciplinary interpretation of a large number of contemporary original field records The examples presented in the work provide clear evidence of Croatian cultural heritage of the region north of the city of Šibenik. The examples
described in the paper have an educational and didactic value. They also represent an etnological, anthropological and filological treasure..
