Abstract
Our primus, teacher, colleague and friend, Primarius Vladimir Mikolji, died on the 7th November, 2000; a man who devoted most of his life to the Clinic of Maxillofacial Surgery in Zagreb. Although he left the the Clinic when he retired he never really deserted us right up until the last days of his life. Every so often he would call in to see us, interested in the work of the Clinic and how we had settled into the new quarters at the Clinical Hospital in Dubrava, and always pleased to hear of all our improvements. He visited us a week before his death.
