Sažetak
Der Beitrag untersucht die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der Evaluation interkultureller Kompetenz im Fremdsprachenunterricht, insbesondere im frühen DaF-Unterricht. Er verweist auf Forschungsdefizite und die besonderen Schwierigkeiten, die einer Evaluation interkultureller Kompetenz im Fremdsprachenunterricht im Wege stehen. In diesem Kontext wird ein Evaluationsinstrument vorgestellt, das im Rahmen eines Forschungsprojektes in Kroatien entwickelt wurde. Mit Hilfe dieses Instruments konnten erstmals empirisch gesicherte Daten über die interkulturelle Kompetenz von Schülern im frühen DaF-Unterricht in der kroatischen Grundschule ermittelt werden.
The paper explores the possibilities and limits of the evaluation of intercultural competence in foreign language teaching, especially in the early lessons of teaching German as a foreign language. The paper also points to research deficits in the field and difficulties obstructing the evaluation of intercultural competence. In this context, the paper also presents an evaluation tool developed as part of a research project in Croatia. With the help of this instrument for the first time it becomes possible to collect reliable empirical data on intercultural competence of students in the early lessons in German as a foreign language in Croatian elementary schools.
