Sažetak
The theme here dealt with is not a common issue in the literature, and because of its complexity demands a further research. With a very few broadly delineated issues regarding the parish office (further: Office), here we deal in particular with its pastoral ministry and the relative possibilities. These are all founded in the fundamental dimension of the Office. The most important issue is the pastoral of dialogue, the counseling of the faithful. Therefore, the article will delineate some important premises for a proficuous conversation, just as some of the preconditions for a useful accomplishment of the pastoral dimension of the Office in general. Here we also present the results of a research dealing with the (un)wanted qualities of priest as a counselor. It shows that very often there is a great contrast with the perception of the pastoral ministers, in this context. The authors propose that the efforts regarding the accomplishment of at least some of the mentioned preconditions can make a considerable improvement in this field.
