Sažetak

The paper consists of six chapters which in a simple way describe how to create a visualization and manage the sun tracking system in order to make better use of solar collectors. The introductory part takes into consideration what such a system should consist of and how it should be realized. It is followed by a description and the discussion of the advantages of photovoltaic system with the integrated sun tracking system as opposed to fixed systems. The third chapter describes the components of the solar tracker whereas the fourth describes two ways in which it is possible to realize the control and management of the solar tracker – the first one is by using the embedded Web server and the other one by using the Wi-Fly module that is connected to the electronics for managing the solar tracker and provides an optimal solution. The fifth chapter deals exclusively with testing the WiFly module performance and its incorporation. A detailed elaboration of the problem and the solution described are followed by the conclusion that briefly highlights the benefits of photovoltaic systems controlled by the built-in microprocessor systems.
