Sažetak

Croatian Telecom Inc. is one of thirty six telecommunication companies in Croatia. It is mostly owned by the company Deutsche Telekom AG. It provides services at the whole territory of Croatia in fixed and mobile networks. Its activities in accordance with the article 3. of the Law on electronic telecommunications is of interest for the Republic of Croatia. This activity is controlled by the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM). The problem of telecommunications has been recognised in the state, and immediately after the Homeland War, the system started to be developed and modernised. The electronic communication infrastructure was built on the parcels owned by various private and legal subjects. The definition of property relations started during the time when the project documentation was in the process of preparation and continued during the construction of electronic communication infrastructure. The public records that are not settled and the regulations at that time triggered the process of settling the problem completely. Croatian Telecom Inc. decided to settle the property relations with the owners that have not been defined by legal predecessors (PTT, HPT). The analysis of business documentation showed a significant number of signed easement agreements that were not entered in land registry. The paper illustrates the efforts invested by the company to solve the problem.
