Sažetak

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystemic, autoimmune disease with an unpredictable course. The progress of the disease can cause permanent damages which influence on functions. The damages of the physical constitution and of the functions have an influence on the patient’s activities and cooperation. In the past years, many different approaches have been developed in order to evaluate the level of damage, handicap and disability. The International
Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) enable a whole view of the health. In evaluation of disability, it defines the main connection between people and their environment. The ICF is not an evaluative tool. It represents the basis for the selection of appropriate tools. The rehabilitation of patients with RA can be evaluated on all levels of ICF. In this contribution, the review of the literature
connected with the evaluation of the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with RA is given.
