Sažetak

This article discusses three aspects of the temporal dimensions of Begović's novel. Firstly, it attempts to establish an exact timeline of the events in the novel, as they are very complex. Secondly, it lists the various signs characteristic of the time (the twenties of the 20th century) which come up in the novel. Thirdly, it attempts to ascertain the nature of the interpretation of history and its influence on individual life that is presented in Giga Barićeva.
