Sažetak

The article deals with the processes and activities needed to carry out the legalization of illegally constructed buildings. Because of the many reasons there has been a building structure that are made without a valid or no documentation. The new Act on the Treatment of illegally constructed buildings was formed bearing zoning process for the future, but the main purpose of this law is to resolve the accumulated spatial planning problems caused by irresponsible behavior of building structures in the past. The Act regulates the conditions, procedures and legal consequences of involvement in the legal system of illegal buildings, taking into account the physical, social, economic and technical requirements. The paper describes the complete process of legalization of illegally constructed buildings.
