Rehabilitation by hypobaric therapy following the bimalleolar fracture

Sažetak

The hypobaric therapy has been applied in rehabilitating 20 patients with the bimalleolar fracture.
It has been observed that this kind of treatment significantly increases the ankle's functional capacity,
but not considerably decreases the pain during the ankle's movement.
The treatment has been performed by the use of Vacusac Mk4 of Danish made, being applied
20 times consecutively, each treatment of 15 minutes duration.
