Sažetak

[n the last ten years the modem science has proved that electromagnetic fields in
their surroundings influence oo living organisms. This influence coud be positive
(benefit) or negative (damage). ln the first part of this article it is analised
electromagnetic fields and their possible effects on living beings. In the second part the
autors are analising low frequency magnetic fields which are used in medicine and
their possible effects on' human beings. More than ten years they are using
magnetotherapy in Maribor and they are between first in former Yugoslavia who
acceptyd it.. The autors are describing their own experiences with magnetotherapy and
they suggest the using of it in physical medicine.
