OBSERVING THE EFFECT OF LASER UPON CLINICAL SYMPTOMS OF HUMERAL RADIAL EPICONDYLITIS

Sažetak

The study of the effect of Jaser rays inCluded 27 patients (20 .female and 7 male)
with the radia! eiPicondylitis humerus (tenis elbow).
To estima;te the laser effect the foHowing subjective parameters were observed:
the spontaneous pain and the pain twhen moving graduated in four degrees. The
examined parameters were evaluated before the treatment started and then on 7th,
14 th and 28th day after the farst laser application.
The duration of applicaltion was S minutes and it was going of for 10 days. The
laser frequency was from 70 to 100 Hz.
The intensity of the spontanneou.s pain and the pain when moving with or without
a resi-stance was significantly decreased already on 7th day and was kept on a
significant level to the end of the observing the patients during four weeks.
