REHABILITATION OF PATIENTS WITH CONTUSION OF ELBOW JOINT

Sažetak

At the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation during the period
1982 - 1984. we rehabilitated 91 patients (74 men and 18 women) with the contusion
of elbow jonts. Most of the patients were at the age of 20 to 49. In 51 patients
we applied cryokinesitherapy, dn 19 patients ultrasound and kdnesitherapy, in 10 patients
intermitt'ent baths and kines>itherapy, and in ll patients the combined therapy.
In 74 patients a very good result was obtained, i.e. the patients did not feel any
discomforts any more, and the elbows of such patients· were freely movable. In 17
patients tihe result was satisfactory. In those patients upon certain limi.tation of
e!bDw function remained permanently, as well as subjective dicomforts.
