Sažetak
A family doctor has to supervise the treatment and care of a chronic wound. Due to its complexity, the approach to treatment is multidisciplinary. In addition to the whole team being properly educated, some changes should be made that would ensure that the family doctor is able to treat the most frequent chronic wounds without having to refer the patient to a specialist. The specialist should provide the family doctor with an additional analysis or change in the treatment, and he should not simply continue the same therapy. It is necessary to improve communication between primary and secondary heath care/telemedicine, center(s) for chronic wound.
