Abstract


The aim of the research was to display the quality of life in the city of Požega using objective and subjective indicators. The intention of authors was basing on analysis of the objective indicators and the statistical analysis of the subjective indicators comparison of inner city neighborhoods. The objective indicators was collected from the city administrations and the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, and via the internet and fieldwork and analyzed using ArcGis. Subjective indicators were collected by a survey. The survey was conducted via fieldwork and via online surveying. Statistical analysis of the collected data was carried out using the statistical software Statistica. The research, expected, has shown that the estimate of quality of life on the basis of objective and subjective indicators do not match. Objective indicators show an average quality of life, while the subjective show a very good quality of life. Finally, the research highlighted the differences between neighborhoods.
