The Return of Utopia

Sažetak

This paper discusses the possibility of a revival of the Utopian thought in the evolutionist and the radically humanistic context, confronted with the obvious impossibility of the expansion of the existent modus quo of the reproduction of society with regard to its global and ecological implications. The discussion is situated in the era of capitalism, pointing both to its still unsurmounted transformational potential, and to its limitations and contradictions. As such, this paper is a contribution to the discussion of the importance of the Utopian thought in its renaissance.
