Social Basis of the Economic Recession in Socialist Countries

Sažetak
Many researches point out different aspects of the economic recession of socialist countries in the last decade. Many of them mostly in the West, started investigation of the different economic and social characteristics of socialist societies. They stress the important differences between capitalist and socialist societies, for example the principle of the maximization of profit versus the principle of the power of the state apparatus, the individualization principle versus the collectivism principle, etc. The author stresses the importance of further investigation of the social reasons of recession of socialist societies, emphasizing the importance of further empirical research.
