Sažetak

One of the most important agrotechnical measures in cultivation of rapeseed is sowing and selecting hybrids or the variety. Foreign hybrids of rapeseed, which are on the variety list of the Republic of Croatia or EU variety list, are mostly sown in Croatia. Sowing date and plant density should be adjusted to each hybrid or ecological conditions of cultivation. This paper describes all elements of rapeseed sowing: selection of a hybrid or a variety, quality of the seeds, sowin g date, plant density, quantity of seeds, manner and the depth of sowing.
